JESSICA LAMONTAGNE
FOR DOVER WARD 5
STATE REPRESENTATIVE
STRAFFORD DISTRICT 17
My name is Jessica LaMontagne.
I am running for my third term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives.
I continue to represent all of the people of Dover Ward 5 and work to make our community and state economically viable and environmentally forward-thinking.
I take my responsibility seriously and did not miss a single vote nor committee meeting*. In my second term I was appointed deputy ranking member on Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs and played a significant role in defeating the worst of the a-202nti-public health, anti-vaccine agenda that came before us this past term.
My legislative goals for the 2026 - 2027 session are to:
Increase the funding for the Affordable Housing Trust Fund which would benefit many projects and in particular funding for supportive housing such as people with disabilities, people in recovery from substance abuse, and seniors that can’t afford expensive Senior Living offered by the private sector.
Change our insurance laws so that people buying Medicare Supplement Plans are not locked into the same plan forever. This means
I will continue to fight to protect voting rights, public education, access to affordable health care, and I will stand up to the radical right.
*Except for the day after my mother died.
